Day 4 - December 30th, 2011 - Friday

Somehow, I forgot that it’s almost new years. Someone wished me Happy New Year as I was giving them their change, and I was like, oh yeah. I forgot what day it is. This year is almost over, and I don’t even know how that happened.

I’m reading one of Mel’s stories, Hell, on my phone while I’m on the bus and at work and whatnot, and I’ve read like four chapters already today. Her chapters are really long, like 8,000 words per chapter, so it takes a lot to get through, but I am in love. She is an incredible writer, and I can’t wait to say I knew her way back when after she’s a famous novelist. I would pay money for these stories, but lucky for me, I get them for free ‘cause Mel loves me. ;)

I taught/reminded Dana of Your Team and oh man. I am excited. He better watch out. haha

I’m almost done packing for AZ. All I have to do is do some laundry. I dug through my entire dirty clothes laundry basket and pulled out everything dirty that I needed / wanted washed / wanted to take on the trip, and I’m going to do two loads tomorrow to get it done. I’m debating whether or not to buy more hairspray or not, ehh maybe I’ll get some when I go to AZ. Idk. We’ll see. But everything else is essentially packed. I’m not taking very much with me, which is a first for me, but y’know. I don’t really ~need much.

We leave in three days. I can’t even believe it. I am so gosh darn excited.

Y’know what else I’m excited for? Working on New Years Eve for time and a half pay. WOO. This is going to be a really weird paycheck but that’s okay. It’ll arrive on Friday and Courtney and I will still be in AZ then for one and a half more days, so that’ll be fun.
